Full course description
The Mindful Communication Program is a 12-week synchronous online training that helps you learn how to apply mindfulness to improve your relationships and communicate more mindfully through your social interactions. Starting on Jan 22nd and ending on Apr 16th, we will meet every Wednesday at 11 am (Mountain Time) for one hour to go on a transformative learning journey to develop mindful communication.
Mindful Communication is an approach to building healthier relationships, both professionally and personally. The basis for a mindful communication is in the development of mindfulness skills - attention, intention, attitude - applied in a way to improve human connections.
The purpose of this training is to offer an overview of principles and practices, as well as to train the skill of mindfulness in the context of social interactions. In developing this applied mindfulness, it may positively change your relationships, bringing perspective to the ways you have learned to communicate with yourself and others.
Creating community and mutual support is important to motivate habit formation and consistency of practice. Thus, you will be invited to actively participate in the group meetings and learn together. By consistently exercising the skill of mindful communication, you improve the quality with which you listen and speak.
